P. Cornely LLC is a recruiting firm that specializes in technical and executive placement throughout the Philadelphia Tri-State area. The firm’s services include both contingency and retained base searches.

The primary areas of expertise are engineering, electronic-based products (hardware/software), manufacturing and information technology. In these areas the positions range from the individual contributor up to and including the Executive management level.

The firm is owned and operated by Paul Cornely, who has been a technical recruiter in the Philadelphia area since 1982. He created a successful and thriving business from nothing and built it over a period of 19 years into Texcel, Inc, of which he was one of the three principle founding members.

Returning to his roots, Cornely has successfully rebuilt his database and re-established his long term relationship within the Philadelphia area employment industry now under his own name, P. Cornely LLC.

During his early career from 1982 through 1985, Cornely learned the employment business under the watchful eye of Tom Rinaldi at the offices of Main Line Personnel. It was Tom’s foresight to breakout and start Texcel in the spring of 1985.

Prior to his career in the employment industry he was an employee of Villanova University as the Wildcat’s Athletic equipment manager (1979 to 1982), and the General Manager of Westtown Sports Center, an ice rink/swim club in West Chester, PA from 1977 to 1979.

Cornely earned a Bachelors Degree in Sports Administration in May, 1977 from Biscayne College in Miami, FL. He graduated from Archbishop Carroll High School in Radnor, PA in 1973.

He is an avid sports fan of all of the Philadelphia professional and college teams but rates golf as his number one passion. He was the President of the Philadelphia Publinks Golf Association from 1999 to 2007.

Cornely and his wife of over 30 years, Marianne, have two children, Matthew and Jennifer.
